“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara, who attributes part of the success of her career to a Pepsi commercial she appeared in years ago, continues to pay the brand back with her reverse bump, starring in a new Diet Pepsi campaign breaking Jan. 15th during TV coverage of the Golden Gloves awards show. In the new spot, Vergara “uses her wit and charm to dance her way past a cast of suitors in a sultry Miami nightclub to get to a refreshing can of Diet Pepsi,” according to Pepsi’s release. The spot, which marks the second year that Vergara has appeared in a Diet Pepsi campaign, was features a “flirty and uplifting rendition of the iconic song, 'Whatever Lola Wants,'” performed Rod Stewart’s daughter, Ruby Stewart.
