Rita’s Italian Ice, a chain with more than 600 stores in 21 states, named New Jersey based Sigma Group as its agency of record. Sigma Group will handle strategic planning, branding, creative and
promotional development, as well as media planning and buying services. Rita’s was founded in 1984 and recently opened its first International outlet in China with a store in Canada slated to
open in 2014. Sigma Group will work with Duke Marketing, Rita’s public relations agency of record, to develop integrated promotions for Rita’s 30
th anniversary, which takes
place next year.
