Media and analytics shop Generator has been awarded media agency of record duties for start-up airline La Compagnie, which is positioned as an all business-class boutique.
Generator will manage media planning, buying and analytics for the Paris-based airline, which offers daily all-business class flights between New York and Paris -- and soon, London -- at prices significantly lower than those of other airlines.

Their analytics and attribution modeling will help accelerate our growth.”
The selection of Generator, which has offices in New York and London, came after a formal review among undisclosed contenders, including one other finalist. Planned 2015 ad spending wasn’t available.
The airline was launched in July of last year, and was created by L'Avion Founder Frantz Yvelin with assistance from Luethi, a former COO at both Swissair and Jet Airways.
