ADT has launched a trio of TV ads starring Ving Rhames as the big, bold face of the brand. I'd love to see Rhames' ADT man go up against Dean Winters' Mayhem man in a mash-up campaign for ADT and Allstate. In the first ad, ADT helps homeowners keep their house looking occupied, even when families are away. Consumers can tweak lighting, lock and unlock doors and maintain the house temperature at a desired level. See it here. The next ad shows Rhames standing guard outside a house in pouring rain, snow and the dead of night, when two burglars attempt a robbery. Rhames immediately shuts the pair down and the two walk away with their tails between their legs. Watch it here. The final ad shows Rhames in the back of a van with fellow ADT employees as they protect an important commodity: waffles.
