Matomy Media's MobFox Launches Mobile SDK

Matomy Media Group announced the launch of a software development kit (SDK) that can create ads automatically in multiple sizes (from 90K to 350K). The goal of the platform is to make app monetization smoother and simpler.

Other features of the new full SDK include automatic creation of in-app native ads, a video player with Vast 3.0 support, and a multiformat waterfall to help maximize fill rate. The lighter version cuts install times for publishers, making app updates faster.

Creating ads in multiple sizes allows publishers to fit their ads to different mobile screen sizes.

“The mobile programmatic market is growing exponentially and publishers are struggling to handle an overwhelming amount of ad networks, wasting both time and resources, resulting in SDK fatigue,” stated Michael Ionita-Ganea, director of technology at MobFox.

Poor load times have affected consumer sentiment in a way that hasn’t fully been accounted for by the ad tech industry.

MobFox was acquired by Matomy in 2014 to expand the company’s mobile and programmatic capabilities. MobFox launched a mediation and optimization tool called Autopilot for publishers a couple months ago.

Sagi Niri, COO of Matomy stated that the initiative focuses on "eliminating stress faced by mobile publishers by offering monetization solutions that alleviate time spent on menial tasks.
