Ad tech platform Rubicon Project will work with British Telecommunications (BT) to expand its digital advertising offerings to thousands of potential advertising partners.
Through the relationship, BT will use Rubicon’s technology to manage programmatic sales across various platforms including mobile in-app, mobile web, video and desktop. Rubicon’s platform will manage both open and private marketplace environments.
BT’s guaranteed inventory and creative solutions campaign will remain the purview of Ad2One, the digital sales company.
“We will look to maximize BT’s potential for programmatic transactions at scale, whilst giving buyers access to engaging advertising formats across premium sites on mobile, video and desktop,” stated Steve Wing, managing director for UK, Ireland & Nordics for Rubicon Project.
BT Digital Advertising, the online advertising and creative solutions arm of BT’s Consumer business, touts over 10 million unique users across BT.com, BT Sport.com and related mobile apps.
