CRM Shop Ansira Acquires Local Biz Now

Digital CRM and direct-marketing specialist Ansira has acquired (with backing from its parent, Advent International) local digital-marketing platform Local Biz Now.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition is the first for the agency since James Warner stepped in to lead the shop in May. It is said to be part of an ambitious plan to expand its scope and capabilities via organic growth and additional M&A transactions.

LBN, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, deploys location-based targeting platforms for its roster of multi-location clients in automotive, QSR, shipping, healthcare and other categories.

“LBN is an excellent addition to Ansira and nicely complements our strategy of helping brands optimize marketing from a national to a local level,” stated Warner, chairman of Ansira. “LBN is one of many acquisitions we anticipate over the next few years as we plan to strategically grow the business."

LBS will maintain its name brand as an operating division of Ansira and its presence in Auburn Hills and Los Angeles, where it also has offices.

Ansira indicated that LBN’s management team remains in place — led by CEO Todd Webber — and will work alongside Ansira’s leadership to continue growing the business.
