
Loom Media, a division of WPP’s tenthavenue unit
that describes itself as weaving “brands into the fabric of the city,” today announced a deal with free, ad-supported electric car charging network Volta Charging, to sponsor Volta
locations nationwide.
The companies said the deal will increase Volta’s coverage “four-fold” and will bring its networks to “scale,” adding 1,500 new
highly trafficked locations, including big markets such as Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Seattle and Portland.
Volta already lists Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles
coverage in its networks and features sponsors including retailers such as Macy’s and Whole Foods.
