MARC USA has relaunched and rebranded its full-service media practice as Cogniscient Media.
The practice will continue to be led by Dave Buklarewicz, executive vice president, executive media director.
Buklarewicz joined the agency in June of last year from Havas Media as the Pittsburgh-based ad agency was beefing up its media and data/analytics offering and redoubling efforts to attract media customers to its stable of clients, most of which take a mix of creative and media services.
The rebranding is the latest step in that effort.

Buklarewicz adds, “Our private ownership, flat organization structure and silo-free team approach give all our clients daily access to senior-level media experts across disciplines and channels. We’re ideally suited for clients in the $20 million – $100 million media spend range.”
In addition to its Pittsburgh office the agency has offices in Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Miami, where its multicultural practice is based.
The media team is 60-plus strong and includes the former Results Digital performance digital media practice (acquired by Marc in 2014) as well as specialists in offline media, content marketing and social and influencer marketing.
Clients include Rite Aid, Payless ShoeSource, the Pennsylvania Lottery, Belle Tire, Navistar and Highmark Health.
