Keith Weed Calls For Collaboration On Tackling Influencers' Fake Followers

Unilever's marketing boss Keith Weed is warning influencers that the only way brands can work with them is for fake followers to be culled. Writing in Marketing Week, he praises some early work done through Instagram on culling the bots, but says more needs to be done across multiple platforms, in collaboration with brands, to guard against rogue operators selling traffic and followers.
