General Motors, Volvo Partner With Amazon For Promo

General Motors, Volvo and Amazon are partnering to encourage customers to try in-car delivery from the online retailer.

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac and Volvo owners in the United States who are Prime members and first-time Amazon Key In-Car Delivery customers will receive a $10 gift card from Amazon to try the service, which helps “keep your packages a surprise for your loved ones this holiday season,” according to Amazon.

The service enables packages to be delivered to a vehicle when it’s parked in a publicly accessible area, such as on the street in front of an apartment building, at a workplace surface parking lot or in a home driveway. Delivery is available on tens of millions of items sold on Amazon.com and works with same day, two-day and standard shipping.

This is an example of how we provide customers with technologies to enhance their ownership experience.”

So if I want to start rippin' off cars. I just need me a shirt with the goofy Amazon Nike rip-off smile, and a fake lanyard, and if someone asks while I'm braking in, I just say, " I'm placing packages INTO the car. " ?????

Come on people.................giving your Onstar open the door pass to package delivery people?  This has to be a millennial thing, because they don't care about any privacy!!

Just remember all cars from 2015 on has a "Black Box" with your total history of the car,
OH only 2015 and newer cars  will work with this program?   What a co-ink-a-dink.
