Mediaocean's MBuy Expands Deal With Nielsen

MBuy -- the media planning and buying technology service of major media software system company Mediaocean -- has renewed and expanded its agreement with Nielsen.

In the deal, MBuy renews its Nielsen deal for standard local and national viewing measurement as well as extending it into Nielsen’s advertising data, Ad Intel -- which provides advertiser spend and ratings data across 23 different media categories, and access to data in 208 local TV markets.

This year, Nielsen expanded measurement across all local TV markets, allowing agencies to forecast, deliver, and steward their buys.

MediaOcean is the major media software system provider to TV advertiser/agency, TV stations and networks for media buying and planning.

In June, Mediaocean struck a deal with major TV station owner Sinclair Broadcast Group’s network ad sales group, Sinclair Media Networks. The agreement provides buyers and planners at media agencies access through Mediaocean’s Spectra platform, with access to all Mediaocean Spectra users across all six media agency holding companies.
