PowerInbox, the provider of an ad-tech platform that links advertisers and email publishers, has hired three executives as part of its growth strategy,
The firm, which generated $30 million
in revenue last year, has named Ira Silberstein as general manager, email. He is a former Taboola executive, and also served at The New York Times, where he worked in internet product and business
development for the newspaper’s website
Silberstein will lead the company’s core email business and provide strategic input for product development.
In addition,
Powerinbox has appointed Aron Schatz as director of programmatic solutions. Schatz launched ASE Adnet, a CPC/CPA ad network, and served as editor in chief of ASE Labs, a daily digital publication
covering new tech product innovations, for 17 years.
At PowerInbox, Schatz will lead programmatic and ad server product management.
The firm has also hired Bill McCann as director of
revenue optimization. McCann co-founded two tech start-ups and worked for eight years as a VP-level technologist at the TriZettoGroup. He will head development of the firm’s ad recommendation
engine and AI expansion.
Powerinbox also reports that it has added 100 new publishing clients over the past year. The firm says it delivered 10 billion pieces of live content in that time via
15 billion monthly emails.
The company is headquartered in New York and has a development arm in Israel.
