Ansira Partners Acquires Email Vendor BrightWave

Ansira Partners Inc., a marketing technology firm, has acquired BrightWave, an email and eCRM agency. Terms were not disclosed.

The purchase will add to Ansira’s “innovation in email and eCRM,” says Kelly Jo Sands, chief CRM and martech officer at Ansira. It will also provide Ansira with an Atlanta presence.

Sands adds that Ansira is happy to welcome BrightWave’s marketing strategists to the team. "BrightWave and Ansira complement each other well, and we look forward to offering our clients additional services,” adds Raj Choudhury, president of BrightWave.

BrightWave has roughly 70 employees. They join Ansira’s more than 850 strategists, technologists, data scientists, creatives, and channel experts.

The company helps clients with strategy, creative, inbox innovation, campaign management, cross-channel marketing and relationship enablement, Ansira says. It also provides end-to-end email marketing support, Ansira adds.

BrightWave’s technology partners include Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe/Marketo, Oracle Marketing Cloud, and IBM Marketing Cloud. It also integrates with platforms such as Cordial, Emarsys, and Movable Ink.

In January, BrightWave announced several appointments and promotions, including Laura Middleton as VP, operations & delivery, Tunde Noibi as VP, platform technology and Kelly Jacxsens as BrightWave as VP, group account director.

The independently owned Ansira helps brands manage the customer experience in the brand-to-local ecosystem. It specializes in CRM and loyalty, through-channel marketing automation (TCMA), it says.
