UserTesting, a provider of customer intelligence, has acquired Truthlab, a provider of machine-learning-based video analysis. Terms were not disclosed.
The purchase will
“accelerate the delivery of machine-learning logic in the UserTesting platform,” says Andy MacMillan, CEO of UserTesting.
The deal will combine Truthlab’s machine-learning
experience with UserTesting’s ability to deliver human insight to help firms build empathy into their customer interactions, the company says.
UserTesting clients will be able to use
intelligent video analytics to fuel recommendations and data for teams seeking to understand their customer, it adds.
The company can quickly deliver “automatic video insight
delivery,” MacMillan says.
In January, UserTesting acquired UserMuse and expanded the demographics of its panel of testers.
