NBCU Announces Leadership Team To Run NBCU, Sky Global Advertising & Partnerships

Following the news of its OnePlatform advertising management service, NBCUniversal has announced the appointment of senior executives to run its global advertising and partnerships for NBCUniversal and its European TV Sky operations.

KC Sullivan, formerly president and managing director of CNBC International, will be president and managing director of NBCUniversal and Sky Global Advertising & Partnerships.

Global advertising and partnership media deals for both NBCUniversal and Sky will be available for purchase through NBCUniversal's One Platform.

NBCU’s recently announced One Platform is a TV/digital ad buying/management platform that allows marketers to optimize, plan, buy and measure media investments.

Linda Yaccarino, chairman of advertising and partnerships of NBCUniversal, has said the service “opens up the doors to countless new partners.” She added that it also allows NBC to “scale” beyond legacy traditional TV deal-making to include digital media platforms.

Sullivan will report to NBCUniversal Chairman Linda Yaccarino and Sky Chief Business Officer Patrick Béhar.

Under Sullivan, Andrew Mortimer will be senior vice president of global partnerships for NBCUniversal and Sky Global Partnerships, and will head a team targeting international marketers looking to buy across the NBCUniversal and Sky.

The Sky Group, a pan-European broadcaster, has 23 million customers across seven countries. Mortimer had been Sky Media UK's Director of Client Strategy.

In addition, Max Raven will be senior vice president of global news advertising & partnerships for the new ad division. He had been senior vice president for CNBC International’s commercial agency Catalyst. In his new position, Raven will lead the expansion of Catalyst.

Sullivan, Mortimer and Raven will work with Krishan Bhatia, executive vice president of business operations & strategy for NBCUniversal.
