Deloitte Digital Joins Twilio Partner Program

Deloitte Digital has joined Twilio’s TwilioBuild partner program as a Global Systems Integrator (GSI) in an effort to facilitate customer engagement.

Deloitte Digital’s Twilio practice will offer the Twilio product suite, including TwilioFlex for contact centers, and Twilio communications APIs.

In addition, the firms will collaborate on expanding the ConvergeHEALTH Connect platform by adding Twilio-powered text, voice, telephony and video engagement.

Twilio’s technology has become “foundational” in building customer engagement, states John Peto, U.S .head of Deloitte Digital, and a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP.

API platforms are “the next major era of cloud software,” adds Glenn Weinstein, Twilio chief customer officer. Twilio APIs support email, voice, text, chat and video.

Weinstein says “COVID-19 has pushed organizations to accelerate their digital transformation.”

That theory is supported by a survey released by Twilio in July, showing 97% of brands believe the pandemic has accelerated their digital transformation, 68% by a great deal.

Twilio’s GSI program consists of an ecosystem of systems integrators who seek to build customer engagement tools using Twilio’s cloud communications platform.

Recently, Twilio launched Lightning Packages, providing guidance on implementation and checks to help customers get the most out of its tools, it says.

In August, Twilio announced it was chosen to power contact tracing for over 28 cities, states and universities.
