Genpact Acquires Something Digital, Online Commerce Agency

Genpact, a professional services firm with global reach, has acquired Something Digital, a digital agency. Terms were not disclosed.

The purchase combines Something Digital’s online marketing capabilities with the customer experience skills of Rightpoint, a firm acquired by Genpact in 2019, the firm says.

Founded over 20 years ago, Something Digital bring its status as an Adobe Solution Partner to the table.

Rightpoint will leverage Genpact’s email capabilities in the Adobe Marketo toolset in a new offering, says Jobin Ephrem, chief growth officer, Rightpoint.

Genpact consolidated its TandemSeven experience business into the Rightpoint brand after its purchase of the latter last year. Rightpoint has over 700 employees and 12 offices.

The firm seeks to “to help clients connect their enterprise front to back to finally be able to solve for experience-led, end-to-end digital commerce,” states Katie Stein, chief strategy officer and global business leader, enterprise services, at Genpact.

“Only by connecting front-end commerce to back-end processes, can organizations create the customer experience that consumers increasingly demand," adds Ross Freedman, chief executive officer of Rightpoint.
