Top Executives Named At Marketing Tech Companies

Two top executive appointments were announced this week by companies serving email marketers and digital brands in general.

In one, Jonathan Spier was named CEO of LeadCrunch, a B2B sales and marketing platform.

Spier had previously served as CEO of other venture-backed companies, including PLAE and Netbase. He will be tasked with accelerating LeadCrunch’s go-to-market and new product development.

“LeadCrunch has been experiencing tremendous growth, and Jonathan’s experience and leadership will aid the company greatly,” states Dave Toth, LeadCrunch chairman.

Spier notes that “B2B sales is at an exciting inflection point where AI will radically advance the way we approach customer relationships.”

In the other appointment, Nick Runyon has been promoted to the title of president at PFL, a “tactile marketing” company that facilitates joint direct mail-email campaigns.   Runyon had joined PFL as CMO in November 2019. Since then, PFL’s marketing team has surpassed its goals, the company states.

“A ‘boomerang’ employee, I knew Nick had the skills we needed to make the strongest marketing organization possible,” states Andrew Field, founder and CEO of PFL.  Field adds that Runyon “didn’t let a global pandemic stop him from meeting every goal set in front of him."

Runyon has also served as COO of Global Media Outreach and as executive director of CV North America.
