Tech company Vercom has finalized its acquisition of MailerLite, a provider of email communication tools, fueling its global expansion in the  CPaaS (Communications Platform-as-a-Service) market, for roughly $89 million. 

Vercom paid more than EUR 54 million in cash, EUR 28 million of which came from the public offering of shares and EUR 26 million from a bank loan. In addition, MailerLite’s founders acquired 2,850,000 new Vercom shares at an issue price per share of EUR 10.52 

The company has added over 38,000 customers, for a total of 57,000, and has a presence in 180 markets, including the U.S.. In addition, Vercom team added 100 specialists to its team. 

The total transaction value of 400 million Polish Zlotys makes this one of the largest purchases made by a Polish technology company in recent years. The company expects to see the impact in Q3 2022. 

Vercom also acquired Oxylion, a voice technology company, for 37 million Zlotys.
