Subscription management platform Evergent has formed a strategic partnership with XroadMedia to provide media firms with content intelligence based on anonymized profiles.
The arrangement combines Evergent’s content data with XroadMedia’s profiles that it builds with aggregated user and household data.
The goal is to help media providers “optimize their customer experience and outperform the competition,” says Adolf Proidl, co-founder and CEO of XroadMedia.
The integration will allow Evergent customers to improve retention and upsell, depending on where the user is in the customer lifecycle.
The two companies will jointly develop tools for enhancing CRM.
XroadMedia provides personalization services to broadcasters, service providers and operators to improve advertising and user experiences in video services, while reducing churn.
“There has never been a more competitive environment for media and advertising, and small technology advantages can make the difference between success or failure,” Proidl says.
In a separate development, Evergent has announced a partnership with KOCOWA, a subscription video streaming platform serving Korean content to audiences worldwide. Evergent will provide payment solutions for KOCOWA customers, incorporating multiple currencies, languages and payment models.
