Munich-based agency holding company Serviceplan is betting big on Web3, especially the metaverse, investing in a new decentralized media studio and has recruited former Google agency manager Nina Matzat and DDB Dusseldorf Head of Digital Strategy and Innovation Yves Bollinger to run it.

The studio, aptly named DCNTRL, touts a full-service portfolio including training, strategy, concept, creation, execution and legal advice and offers complete support -- "from the first steps in Web3 to market entry and community management -- the agency boasts.

Antoni Team X Lead Creative Katsche Platz also joined the studio team as creative director.
