Taylor Swift Multiplies In Capital One Spot

Game three of the World Series was not only a shutout for the Phillies, but it was a Taylor Swift fest for Capital One, which launched its new ad "Multiple Taylors" featuring the Grammy winner.

GSD&M, Capital One's agency of record, created the spots. There are 15-second and 30-second incarnations.

The new TV spot showcases the Capital One Venture X card. Users can earn unlimited 2X miles on all purchases.

The various Taylors are dressed in outfits, including the singer's "1989" album tour and a purple chiffon number from "Speak Now." She also uses the number 13, which fans know she considers her lucky number and includes in her work.

The alliance with Swift isn't new. She partnered with the credit-card company in 2019 and has also starred in campaigns for Capital One’s Savor card and checking and savings products. The duo has teamed to give fans access to exclusive merchandise in late 2020.

“Capital One has amazing partnerships with personalities who really resonate within culture,” said Jay Russell, chief creative officer at GSD&M. “And this is an exciting cultural moment for a brand to be a part of. From bringing the concept to the table to collaborating on all the elements, outfits and Easter Eggs, this is a great Capital One spot touting the benefits of a product, done in a way that speaks directly to what the Swifties want.”
