Walmart Commerce Technologies and Walmart GoLocal are making their
retail tools available through Salesforce AppExchange.
The solutions include the Walmart Commerce Technologies Store Assist and GoLocal’s local delivery tools.
The
arrangement will facilitate Buy Online and Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS), enabling retailers to leverage their local stores as fulfillment centers.
Also, the technologies will help
retailers manage local deliveries, enabling them to provide same-day local delivery.
In addition, the partnership will help retailers drive efficiency and profitability across the omnichannel
shopping journey, Walmart says.

experiences,” says Anshu Bhardwaj, senior vice president, technology strategy and commercialization, Walmart Global Technology.
Bhardwaj adds: “The same technology that
powers Store Assist has enabled Walmart to fulfill over 830 million orders across over 4,700 Walmart stores."
