Looking to expand its business-to-business (B2B) offerings, celebrity video messaging platform Cameo has appointed Meta veteran Matty de Castro as the new C4B (Cameo for Business) general manager of
enterprise sales. De Castro will focus on ad partnerships in order to grow C4B's celebrity-driven marketing arm.
Cameo for Business, which serves brands including Infiniti, Chipotle, Bud Light,
Molson Coors, MTV and Pfizer, is focused on offering brands access to a multitude of stars -- athletes, entertainers, and creators -- so they can efficiently create celebrity-driven marketing
content.
Previously, De Castro served as the head of CPG and retail sales at Facebook, where he partnered with Fortune 500 brands and helped grow the company’s marketing services
platform to $3.7 billion.
Most recently, De Castro worked as vice president of growth and operations at content platform VidMob, where he built out the global sales and business operations
team for the platform's end-to-end marketing solutions focused on data-driven creative.
Cameo says it is continuing to invest in its B2B division.
DeCastro will work in partnership
with Prajit Gopal, the new head of product for C4B and merchandise.
