Stirista Acquires Customer Portfolios, Combining Acquisition And Retention Skills

Data-based Marketing company Stirista has acquired Customer Portfolios, a strategic lifecycle marketing provider. Terms were not disclosed. 

The acquisition will enhance Stirista’s suite of tools, starting with “1st party data and strategic insights through the execution of optimized omnichannel campaigns,” while accelerating its growth, says Ajay Gupta, CEO of Stirista. 

The Customer Portfolios’ platform and its 20+ employees will be integrated with Stirista over the next three to six months. 

Stirista, based in San Antonio, Texas, helps brands with data-driven marketing via email and digital.

Customer Portfolios's platform generates customer profiles that help retailers conduct automated strategic lifecycle marketing initiatives in all channels, it says. 

The merger will combine “Stirista's customer acquisition capabilities with Customer Portfolios' customer retention expertise,” says Augie MacCurrach, CEO and co-founder of Boston-based Customer Portfolios.
