Carlin Consumer Health was created last year by healthcare private equity firms Hildred Capital Management, Bourne Partners Strategic
Capital and The Emerson Group. The company sees an opportunity to acquire over-the-counter brands from larger pharma companies that shed products from their portfolios from time to time.
Around the time of its formation, Carlin acquired Zegerid OTC from Bayer for an undisclosed amount.
USIM will handle strategic media planning and activation duties, while The
BAM Connection will provide creative and social services to support Zegerid OTC marketing initiatives.
