Horizon Media Chooses Precisely As Its Location Data Provider

Precisely, a firm specializing in data integrity, has been selected by the U.S. agency Horizon Media as its exclusive movement and location data provider.  

Precisely PlaceIQ data will be available within blu, Horizon Media’s connected marketing platform.

This will allow “our agency teams and our brand clients to leverage location data in ways that would otherwise be impossible,” says Jean-Marc Papin, senior vice president of media technology at Horizon Media.

Horizon’s clients will have the data and analytics needed to leverage location in their marketing strategies.   

Case in point: A consumer packaged goods company  can intersect purchase data with visitation data to understand shifting consumer channel preferences, the firm says.  

In addition, automotive marketers can reach in-market audiences based on consumer footfall and location data, it adds.
