Essentia Water will now have a sizable NBA
presence as the official alkaline water of the Brooklyn Nets, in an agreement stretching well beyond the 2023-2024 NBA season. A representative for Essentia Water confirmed that the sponsorship
agreement is for three years, through October 2026.
In a statement, Zola Kane, who leads marketing for the brand, an early entrant in the ionized alkaline water category, said that Essentia
"has a longstanding commitment to working with athletes," and called the partnership "a perfect match."
Nets fans -- as well as attendees at other Barclays Center events -- can expect to find
Essentia distributed throughout the venue during Nets home games at concessions, grab-and-go stations, clubs and suites. The agreement will also keep Essentia on-hand for Nets players as a pre- and
post-game locker room beverage. For Essentia, that could potentially mean a nice brand boost from players seen with Essentia bottles during post-game interviews.

Essentia has plans for a
series of activations with the Nets around New York in the coming months, following an Oct. 14 "Practice in the Park Hydration Station" promotion at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 2 for the Nets
open practice and fan fest. On weekends throughout October, Essentia is also making stops at basketball courts across Brooklyn for its "Bucket to Win Brooklyn Ticket & Merch Drops," surprising
fans with a chance to win Nets and Essentia merchandise, as well as tickets to the Dec. 2 Nets game.
Next month, the brand will follow up with a sweepstakes giving fans the chance to win "the
ultimate courtside experience" at a Nets home game this season. The brand will reveal further details, including how to enter the contest, on its Instagram feed in early November. <
