Gender inequality is legion in advertising. Madeline Meade and Rachel Brandt are trying to correct it.
The two have co-founded a new agency, Corner Table Creative, that debuted with a client roster such as Sweetgreen, Yahoo, Coterie and Kernel.
“We have two core motivators that inspired us to launch Corner Table Creative and continue to inspire us every day. First, only 2% of creative agencies are owned by women. Secondly, we love what we do. We want to see great creative in our own feeds, and we don't think brands need to compromise between volume and strategy, or performance and creativity," Brandt told Agency Daily.
Their mission is disruptive delivery that produces fast, top-quality work.
At present, Corner Table has 27 members on its team, including designers, strategists and trendspotters. The new agency removed creative and departmental silos from the process, preferring to be laser-focused on the work.

“This deep trust with our clients has resulted in organic business growth,” said Brandt. “This year, we've far exceeded our revenue projections, fueled by a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.”
“Drawing from our collective experience, we’ve deployed a model that doesn’t make brands choose between having a lot of content and having great creative,” added Meade. “We believe you can have both.”
Brandt previously worked at 72andSunny, Code3, Deutsch and Saatchi & Saatchi, while Meade held a post at Code3 working on brands including P&G, Rent the Runway and
ABI.
