NP Digital Acquires SearchGuru To Expand Globally

NP Digital has acquired performance marketing company SearchGuru.

The company declined to disclose the financial details of the acquisition.

SearchGuru, which also has offices in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong
, has a long client list that includes Club Med, Nespresso, Maybank and DHL across Asia.

NP Digital already had offices in Australia and India as well as Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The combination of the two companies aligns well with NP Digital’s customer-centric values and culture.

The primary reasons for acquiring SearchGuru is to expand “like-for-like full funnel digital marketing services and add another creative production house, Foundry by SearchGuru, to NP Digital,” according to Mike Gullaksen, NP Digital CEO.

All 120 employees will join NP Digital, which had more than 800 employees worldwide. The combined companies now have nearly 950.

Co-founders Larry Lim and YC. Ng will remain with the company as business advisor and transition officer, respectively.

SearchGuru will keep the name, but add the NP Digital moniker.
