Former VideoAmp Measurability Chief Chasin Adds Upwave To Advisor Roles

Long-time media audience measurement expert Josh Chasin has added another to his growing list of brand-related analytics roles, joining Upwave as an advisor.

Chasin, who abruptly left alternative advertising currency startup VideoAmp in January, is now an advisor to at least half a dozen such firms, also including the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), Research Measurement Technologies (RMT), Adelaide, and FutureSight, a media data platform incubated by Norwell, MA-based media agency Mediastruction.

Chasin previously was chief measurability officer of VideoAmp and has held researcher leadership roles at Comscore, Arbitron and Simmons Market Research Bureau.

Chasin is principal of KnotSimpler, a company providing strategy and measurement consultation to ad tech, analytics, audience currency, and measurement companies.
