Samsung TV Plus -- Samsung’s free-ad supported streaming television platform -- has revealed that it has a monthly active user reach of 88 million, comparable to the largest of U.S. FAST platforms, such as Pluto, Roku Channel, and Tubi.
Samsung says its FAST service is the most used app on Samsung TV sets -- and that its core U.S. based of users over-indexed in key 18-49 demographics.
Though the company did not reveal more granular viewing specifics, it says Samsung TV Plus also over-indexes on primetime and late-night viewing in the U.S.
The most recent reading of Nielsen’s regular monthly "Total TV" and streaming viewing measurement, shows the top FAST networks are: Tubi, a 1.7% share; Roku Channel, 1.6%; and Pluto TV, 0.7%.

Samsung says Samsung TV Plus has more than 3,000 channels and tens of thousands of on-demand options, and that its growth has been pushed by increased consumption across both linear and AVOD. Its on-demand viewing is up more than 400% year over year globally.
Samsung is the largest producer of TV sets in the U.S. (30 million TV sets) and globally (73 million). It has a 30.1% share of all TV sets sold worldwide, and around 28% the U.S.
