Port of Portland, which oversees Portland International Airport (PDX) along with marine terminals and business parks, has chosen Portland-based creative agency Industry to oversee a new brand strategy.
The account was won after a competitive pitch.
First work is expected in July 2025.
The win is the first time Port of Portland asked an agency to produce the airport’s brand identity. Industry's remit is to capture PDX and the Pacific Northwest as part of the airport experience.
The brand consultancy is also responsible for new ad campaigns.
“Anyone who’s been here knows that PDX is one of the best airports in the world. There is this beautiful mix of humanity that converges here every day. It’s been awesome to unpack why people love it — what is that spark — and create surprising ways to stoke the local love. We’re excited to hit the ignition button on everything we’ve been working on side-by-side with Port of Portland,” Oved Valadez, creative director, Industry, told Out to Launch.
Industry's client work includes Almave, Lego Group and Converse.
