National smoothie and fast-casual dining chain Tropical Smoothie Cafe has named Horizon Media its media agency of record.
The assignment follows a competitive review and the remit includes expanding the brand's national footprint vis a vis "data-driven strategies, advanced technology and innovative media solutions," the agency said in a statement.
The chain also is consolidating its national and local media budgets into a single, unified $50 million annual fund, which will be managed by Horizon.
“2025 will be a transformative year for Tropical Smoothie Cafe as we leverage the collective strength of our marketing investment to drive unprecedented growth,” CMO Deborah von Kutzleben said in a statement.
Founded in 1997, Tropical Smoothie Cafe currently has more than 1,500 locations in 44 states.
