Out Of The Inbox, Into AI: System Allows Email Access To AI Tools, Firm Says

Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming part of email technology in new ways.

For instance, a system announced by Integral Business Intelligence allows users to access AI from their email inboxes, the firm says.

A person’s email system can serve as the interface for messaging with AI models and AI agent workflow, says Integral Business Intelligence, an AI system integrator.

The new tool, Integral Interface, allows users to create and use email addresses to access AI tools and control data flows and AI models, the company claims.

"This isn't another siloed AI tool; it's a fundamental reimagining of how businesses interact with AI,” says Sarah Ismail, principal.

According to the company, the system provides:

  • Invisible Integration — Workers can send emails to AI-powered addresses with no training needed.
  • Role-Based AI — Users can assign different email addresses to specialized AI models and agentic workflows.
  • Compatibility — The system works with all email systems including Outlook, Gmail, and Salesforce along with mobile devices.
  • Automated Documentation — Every AI interaction can be recorded in email threads.
  • Data Control — Firms can deploy on-premises AI models running on NVIDIA or AMD GPU. They can also use external APIs by OpenAI, Microsoft, Anthropic, and others firms.

In addition, the tool serves as an entry point into AI workflows, the firm adds.

Email requests can trigger specialist models to evaluate documents, incorporate in-house data and produce deliverables or trigger other actions by humans or AI, it says.
