Steak-umm has a novel way for people to find its brand in overstuffed freezers.
The company added a freezer flag — a light-activated, telescoping pole with an LED light and built-in speaker that emits beeps. In short, you'll never lose your craving for meat in your freezer again.
The spot, using an informercial-style format, is running across Steak-umm's social-media channels throughout March. It dovetails with National Frozen Food Day (March 6) established by Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Tombras created the ad.
"It's only natural for a 100% real brand like Steak-umm to take over National Frozen Food Day with a very real device for a very real problem," said Dooley Tombras, Tombras president.
This isn't the
first Steak-umm campaign from the agency. It produced the DeepSteaks stunt pranking vegans and the Beef Sheets campaign that let customers “sleep
in meat.”
