Major League Baseball (MLB) selected five brands from Primo Brands' portfolio of spring water and purified water brands for designation as the official water of Major League Baseball.
More specifically, Primo Brands regional spring water brands Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ice Mountain, and Ozarka, and national purified water brand Pure Life, will carry the distinction.
"This year, our MLB activation will go beyond the ballpark to spotlight our portfolio of healthy hydration brands, with help from some of the league's top players," Primo Brands CMO Kheri Tillman said in a statement, adding that the sponsorship agreement will allow Primo to showcase its water brands “at the center of experiences that foster community, ignite local pride, and celebrate the talent of inspiring athletes."
Primo Brands’ in-house creative agency, The Lab, is showcasing its sponsor brands through partnerships with four players. The campaign will feature content running across social media, as well as local programming and unspecified “surprise fan interactions.” Content will appear across brand and player partner Instagram pages.
