Ford, White Claw, Kroger Gear Up For Derby

Churchill Downs Racetrack is welcoming a full slate of partners and on-site brand experiences for the 151st Kentucky Derby, presented by Woodford Reserve.

"The Kentucky Derby has always been more than a race — it's a celebration of culture, community and craftsmanship," said Casey Ramage, vice president of marketing and partnerships for Churchill Downs Racetrack.

This year's partners and brand experiences reflect the Derby's evolution, blending legacy and innovation, Ramage says.

Food and beverages are featured prominently. Brown-Forman returns as a partner, continuing its legacy of Derby cocktails. White Claw returns as  official hard seltzer of the Kentucky Derby, providing an activation with photo moments and customizable giveaways.

Red Bull returns to the track, offering an exclusive new limited-time flavor, Red Bull Summer Edition White Peach, at its summer-themed activation. Jackson Family Wines returns as the preferred wine of the Kentucky Derby. Wisconsin Cheese will debut at the Kentucky Derby, serving samples of its premium cheeses.

Passion Roses is the official rose provider of the Kentucky Derby, while Kroger returns as the official crafter of The Kentucky Derby Garland of Roses.

Expanding the Derby’s international alliances, Cygames, a Japanese video game company, will be operating a hands-on demo booth.

Ford Motor Co. brings new horsepower to the track with "The Pony," a non-alcoholic mocktail in the Ford First Turn Club, the renamed club, in addition to other on-site activations.

While not an official sponsor, Goodyear announced its Wingfoot One Blimp will make its debut flight with its rewrapped vintage look at the Derby as part of continued celebrations of the Blimp’s 100th anniversary. This marks the first time the Goodyear Blimp has appeared over the Kentucky Derby since 2011.
