WNBA 2024 MVP A’ja Wilson can add “Greatest Cashbacker of All Time” to her extensive resume.
Wilson stars alongside comedian Kevin Hart and NBA star Stephen Curry in the latest addition to Chase’s “Cashback Like a Pro” campaign promoting the brand’s Freedom Unlimited card.
In the spot, Wilson arrives at the gym as Hart and Curry are casually shooting hoops and arguing over who is the “greatest cashbacker of all time.” Sinking a shot from behind the three-point line, Wilson cites earning 5% cashback on travel, putting an end to the conversation.
Shot in California, the campaign builds on the previous “#CashBros” campaign with Curry and Hart, showcasing the rewards features of the card.

The campaign kicks off May 22, and does not have a specified end date. The launch is timed to coincide with the height of the NBA Playoffs, which initially tipped off on April 19, and also arrives on the heels of the WNBA season opener on May 16.
The brand had been running a campaign with Curry and Hart for around five months, and “we felt we needed the presence of a woman in sports,” Wittney Rachlin, managing director and general manager for the Chase Freedom card portfolio, told Marketing Daily.
Wilson “completes the full picture of fandom,” Rachlin said, adding that heightened fan passion around women’s sports helped solidify that Wilson was an important addition.
Rachlin also framed Wilson’s arrival to the campaign as part of a broader push by the brand to reach diverse audiences.
“Her coming into the brand is about extending the brand to be more inclusive, about broadening our appeal across the marketplace, across broader communities.” she added.
