Dentsu has invested in Silicon Valley business automation platform Kognitos which claims to be the first neurosymbolic AI platform, merging symbolic reasoning with the adaptive learning of modern artificial intelligence (AI).
The investment was made (through Dentsu Ventures) as part of a $25 million Series B funding round led by Prosperity7 Ventures.
According to Kognitos, its platform is a “hallucination-free” system that allows businesses to automate hundreds of workflows across departments (HR, finance, legal etc.) using natural language.

The company was founded in 2020 by Benny Gill, who stated: "The era of brittle automation and unpredictable AI is over. Kognitos delivers powerful, non-hallucinating AI agents on a reliable platform that understand your business, document its operations, and meticulously follow processes — giving you true command."
Going forward, Dentsu said it would “help Kognitos expand its business and consider creating synergies in the AI-driven enterprise automation arena.”
