Lexus Partners With NBCUniversal For Custom Ad

Lexus unveiled a concept vehicle designed for those who treat getting ready as an experience all its own: the Lexus Glam LX.

The one-of-a-kind glam suite -- previewed in a custom ad on TikTok in collaboration with NBCUniversal Group featuring some of the division’s Bravo stars, including “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” stars Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks.

The vehicle will be used for marketing activations throughout the year, providing audiences the chance to experience its design up close.

“The Glam LX celebrates the latest chapter of Lexus, one that goes beyond comfort and craftsmanship to connect with our guests’ passions and desire for self-expression,” says Lisa McQueen, senior manager, Lexus marketing, in a release. “It’s a bold statement of Lexus design and innovation applied in a completely unexpected way.”

Built in collaboration with Complete Customs, the exterior is a pearl symphony chameleon wrap with crystal-faceted badging and a stitched pink and white leather interior featuring touches like mohair, silk and stone inlay accents. 

Unique touches include a trunk vanity and dressing suite where French doors open to a backstage-ready space with custom pullout chairs and illuminated mirrors for beauty prep on the go. A retractable privacy screen creates a private changing area,  complemented by an LED-lit clothing rack and acrylic drawers for wardrobe and accessory storage.

Inside, passengers can enjoy quick polish changes at a manicure station with UV/LED lighting.

The second row features a professional-grade backseat beauty station, complete with tray tables for product spread-outs, a halo-lit skylight for optimal lighting, and a custom full-width dropdown illuminated mirror for makeup application.

Lexus and the Bravo network have collaborated on a number of brand integrations and promotional events since 2009 featuring "Bravolebrities," with a major focus on “Real Housewives” stars. 

In 2024, Lexus was a major sponsor of the Bravo Fan Fest events, providing shareable fan experiences. In Miami, fans could pose for a photo op with a Lexus LX, creating their own personalized "Real Housewives of Miami"-inspired tagline. In Las Vegas, a Lexus booth at the event hosted stars like "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" cast members Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow, who also filmed custom social media content.
