San Francisco startup AdsGency AI has raised a $12 million seed
investment round led by XYZ Venture Capital to build out what its executives describe as an agentic AI operating system and agency for advertisers.
AdsGency Founder Bolbi Liu built the ad
systems at AWS and DiDi. Now she is redefining how performance marketing is done without “agencies, human bottlenecks, just AI agents running campaigns autonomously.”
Liu believes
“even the most beautiful 8K video ad won't work if your strategy, targeting, and execution is a miss.”
AdsGency was built to automate and connect all campaign elements to help
advertisers access insights. The operating system hosts multiple large language models (LLM) and uses AI agents to automate the campaign planning process, including generating ads and placements.

AdsGency's agentic system carries out strategic planning, multimodal content generation and ad placement across channels, attribution, and optimization.
Its platform also integrates with
major advertising channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, and Google, while connecting to enterprise data solutions like Snowflake and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
The
company’s customers include TAL Education, which said it has experienced 3x return on ad spend (ROAS) and 650% revenue growth since using AdsGency’s agentic platform; Halliday, which
said it has generated $3.3 million with a 13x return on ad spend using the platform; and Mobvoi, which increased profit by greater than 10x, according to company documents, leading it to move on from
traditional agencies, its CEO Michael Wang said.
