MSNBC Begins Rebrand Campaign For MS NOW

In preparation for its new network name change to MS NOW, MSNBC is starting up a new ad campaign, called "We The People" today -- timed to benefit from typically higher election day viewership.

Two promotional messages will run featuring its top host, Rachel Maddow, and the late Dr. Maya Angelou.

In one 60-second spot called “Human Family,” Maddow reads the preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

At the same time video content accompanies content featuring everyday Americans and MSNBC hosts including Lawrence O’Donnell, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Jen Psaki, Chris Hayes, Stephanie Ruhle, Ari Melber, Nicolle Wallace, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele and Alicia Menendez.

The spot ends with Maddow saying: “We the People.” Then the new MS NOW logo appears with the onscreen copy: “Same Mission. New Name... Coming Nov. 15th."
