The DoorDash platform — app or site — fulfills that charge, connecting people with restaurants, grocery and retail stories. To drive that point
home, it launched “For Every Reason To Stay.”
The campaign, created by GUT Los Angeles, illustrates what happens
when a guest tries to leave a dinner. DoorDash arrives throughout the evening — with dessert, wine and a big-screen TV to watch the game. The orders delay any departure.
The spot streams
on national digital platforms, programmatic video and YouTube.
“As a Latina, I grew up in the world of endless goodbyes,” said Luz Arroyo, creative director at GUT. “So
bringing that into a DoorDash spot made total sense. The brand already shows up at the exact moment the night needs something. This time, it just happened to be the thing that stops you from
leaving.”
