Toyota Partners With Sisqo For Parody

Toyota is partnering with multiplatinum artist Sisqó for a parody track for Toyotathon, Toyota’s annual year-end sales event.

Sisqó’s “Thong Song” becomes “Thon Song,” a comedic, high-energy reinvention built to become the anthem of Toyotathon, giving fans the song they never knew they needed. 

A national tease will air on Christmas Day during Netflix’s NFL coverage. The 15-second spot, titled “Everywhere Remix” gives fans their first listen and ends with a playful nod to the reimagined hook: “Toyotathon-thon-thon-thon-thon…”

The ad was created by Saatchi & Saatchi. 

“Fans have transformed Toyotathon into a true pop culture moment,” said Dedra DeLilli, vice president, marketing communications at Toyota Motor North America, in a statement. “From memes and merch to social media buzz and a full-fledged NFL ‘carspiracy,’ the celebration has grown far beyond a year-end sales event. By collaborating with Sisqó to reinvent his iconic hit, we’re tapping into a moment fans already love and introducing a playful twist built to keep the Toyotathon magic alive."
