Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the achievements of
women worldwide and reaffirming its long-standing commitment to equal opportunity with creative featuring Coco Gauff.
The social media campaign debuted earlier this month on International Women's Day.
The 21-year-old U.S. tennis star became the latest global brand ambassador for
Mercedes-Benz in December.
Another initiative that went live on International Women's Day is the "Driven by Her" collaboration with CultedXO, a new media brand that puts
community and culture first.
"Driven by Her" embodies the spirit of Bertha Benz who, behind the wheel of the Benz Patent-Motorwagen in 1888, was the first person to drive a
car over a long distance and won the needed publicity for her husband Carl Benz's invention. In the campaign, four emerging female creators interpret technological innovations of Mercedes-Benz
through their own creative perspectives and translate them into culture-driven content.

The initiatives reflect Mercedes Benz's goal to inspire more women and girls to pursue
careers in technical fields.
The company takes part in numerous career and information days, offering girls and young women insights into technical professions, in addition to
partnering with the Hacker School, a nonprofit organization in Germany dedicated to inspiring children and young people to take up coding.
Visible role models are essential to
highlight the range of career paths available in the automotive industry, according to the company, which notes that worldwide, 26.7% of senior leadership positions at Mercedes Benz are held by
women.
