Daryl Lee, Global Chairman at McCann, and former iHeart CMO Gayle Troberman
are launching a weekly podcast next week that will explore media, marketing and how they intersect with LGBTQ culture.
The first episode, debuting June 9, will focus on the hit HBO Max series
Heated Rivalry and what the show’s popularity reveals about fandom, audience behavior and cultural resonance. And what marketers can learn from the success of LGBTQ
storytelling.

The podcast is called gay-i and its available on Bubbler Podcast Network which was co-founded by Troberman and ad exec David Alberts (Grey, BBDO,
Mojo) and which debuted in April of this year.
Bubbler is B2B focused with the mission of helping marketers connect with younger consumers and move beyond traditional marketing.
On its
LinkedIn page, the network is described this way: “Everything we do is about starting and scaling live, human conversations and creating connections and collaborations with the most provocative
and successful people in business, marketing, media, entertainment, and beyond. At Bubbler we believe marketers are thirsty for more, consumers deserve better and simply playing the efficiency game is
not going to change the game.”
