
Based on updated estimates released by WPP Media and
Madison and Wall, as well as the inclusion of data from Informa's WARC unit, MediaPost's composite of reputable ad-industry forecasters projects U.S. ad spending will expand 8.0% this year -- the same
projection the composite averaged when it was last updated in January.
While the consensus remains unchanged, it includes updated data from more sources, although they may be based on different criteria and baselines.
All of the estimates are based on total ad
spending and do not exclude U.S. political ad spending.
The consensus for 2027 U.S. ad-spending growth rises to +4.0% from +1.8% in January.
