Soto Joins David New York As Executive Creative Director

Creative agency David has selected Alvaro Soto as executive creative director for its New York office. He reports to North American CCO Daniel Lobatón.

Prior to his appointment, he spent more than five years at Grey New York as global group creative director on the Corona and Budweiser accounts. Recently, he led the "Lime Guides" for Corona and the "For Every Golden Moment" global campaign for Corona Cero during the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Previously, the award-winning creative headed teams for Pringles, Modelo and P&G in the U.S.

Before Grey, he held roles at Anomaly New York and Innocean, kicking off his ad career at McCann Lima and TBWA Lima.

“Alvaro stepped into the office and immediately became essential to David — from leading teams to get to better, sharper, more insightful work to taking some of our internal ways of working and identifying how to help us build an even faster rocket ship,” said Lobatón.
